Hurry up ... I'll wait ... lol
Since I last updated my site on May 19th so much has
been going on in my life. I won't bore you with the details ... BUT ... here are the highlights:
My computer went kaput!
Which is part of the reason why I haven't worked on my site for so long. I
ended up having to format my hard drive and lost all my saved graphics, pictures, etc. in
the process. ARGH!! To make matters worse my CD
Rom died too so reinstalling all the programs was a challenge ... and recovering my
computer's contents continues to be a s-l-o-w process. But hey there is a silver
lining to every cloud ... my files are so organized now ... they sparkle
... lol
Tanaya (my daughter) had her baby!!

Born on July 2nd, 2001
makes me officially a GRANDMA now!!
I had the pleasure of attending his birth and I must
say it was truly one of the most precious, exciting, memorable (and hectic) events of my
life! I will be creating a page to tell you more about it (with pics too of course!)

(there's three of them ... so far!) A week after Tanaya
gave birth to Bryce, Stephen (the baby's father) decided he wasn't ready to be a daddy so
he abandoned them. So now Tanaya and Bryce live with me in my one bedroom apartment
... the challenges we have endured is a story in itself .... but that's for another time!!
Shortly after Tanaya and Bryce moved in with me the
apartment building we live in got sold. Shortly thereafter all the residents of the
building got eviction notices and we all have to be out by the end of September! So
here it is ... September 6th ... and as the end of the month gets closer ... we are still
looking for a new home (a two bedroom apartment!) I feel a bit panicked and
stressed at times so if I can be selfish here for a minute ... I would ask that you keep
us in your prayers and thoughts ... thanks! {{{ hugs }}}
Well that's about it for now ... whew
... lol! As you can imagine I'm going to be busy in the coming weeks and adding
pages to my site is going to have to take a low priority. I'd like to thank you for
your patience ... I know that you're looking forward to new pages.
